TABS® Elite Monitor
A good fall management programme maintains the patient’s independence and well-being with minimal intrusion, expense, and complication. TABS® fall monitors meet this criteria and fit perfectly with your efforts to help reduce the risk of falls. This restraint-free monitor sounds an alert when a patient leaves a bed, chair, room, or wheelchair. The TABS® alert sounds when the patient moves beyond a carer defined safety area so that staff know when someone is at risk of falling. In many cases, the alert serves as a reminder to the resident to stay put until help arrives.
The TABS® Elite monitor provides a restraint-free method of monitoring individuals in a bed who are at risk of falling, such as the elderly, Alzheimers or dementia patients or residents. The monitor uses TABS® Sidekicks 90-day or 1-year pressure pads. Special features of this “smart” fall monitor allow care givers to adjust to a variety of fall monitoring situations.
