John Brasch. Founder of Brasch Group. John is a pioneer in the healthcare industry. He successfully introduced a geriatric bathing system, Century Baths, in a dozen markets outside of the United States, setting up and managing distributors in the UK and throughout the continent. In 1985, he introduced wander alert systems to the United States – systems which have significantly contributed to a reduction in the use of restraints, greater freedom for the patient, and a decrease in injury to persons who are prone to wander. As President of Senior Technologies, John introduced additional technologies including TABS fall monitors which were designed by a geriatric physician in response to a concern over falls; delayed egress magnetic locks that allow facility security but easy exit in the event of a fire; and wireless call systems that were introduced to reduce the expense associated with hardwiring. John is committed to providing quality, affordable and effective products that reduce the concern and worry of caregivers – and help deliver the highest standards of care.
