History
Founded in 1995, WanderGuardUK was the international arm of Senior Technologies, Inc., the leading manufacturer of RFID and electronic technology for enhancing patient care and safety. When John Brasch, founder and CEO of Senior Technologies, sold the company to Stanley Toolworks in 2002, he retained the international division. With an experienced staff and expertise in the healthcare industry, he has continued his commitment to offering some of the best solutions for the problems that caregivers world-wide face in providing the highest quality, individual-focused care.
In 2008, WanderGuardUK changed its name to Turun UK, Ltd. Since its founding, the company has continued to grow, and in 2009 introduced its own proprietary line of products, SafePresence® Not-Back-In-Bed alerts, the Audio Attendant, the CareHub, and the Hook-Up. Other manufacturer products have also been added that address areas of concern in healthcare facilities: infant protection, asset tracking, call systems, voice-to-voice communication, staff safety, and status monitoring options. The products are backed with 24 hour a day, 7 day a week, 365 day a year service and support.
